ÚĽUV Gallery Banská Bystrica

ÚĽUV Gallery Banská Bystrica, an exhibition space dedicated to presentation of contemporary crafts and folk art production, was temporarily located on the ground floor of the Regional Craft Centre ÚĽUV.

The premises are currently in the usage of ÚĽUV PLUS - a non-profit organization dedicated to services in the field of folk art production and sales of items related to folk art and crafts. Its mission is the development, protection, restoration and presentation of cultural values in accordance with the Act of the Slovak National Council. 4/1958 Coll. of folk art production and crafts. The main objective of the organization ÚĽUV PLUS is to create optimal conditions for folk art producers in a way the products diversity and quality of production of traditional crafts is to be maintained in the technologies, materials, shapes and ornaments. The gallery form of shops provides dignified presentation of a wide range of folk art products and craftsmen.
