Make your own folk costume

In our popular School of traditional craft production series, ÚĽUV is releasing a long-awaited publication Make your own folk costume: manual with cuts appendix for sewing men’s traditional clothing from Liptovské Sliače, and, Make your own folk costume: manual with cuts appendix for sewing women’s traditional clothing from Liptovské Sliače. The production team, led by the publication’s author Simona Kožuchová, introduces, in brochures, basic tailoring skills needed to make individual clothing articles of one’s own folk costume, describing all steps, and supporting them with pictures and the cuts appendix, including advice on how to take measurements.
