Ema Stoličná

Shifting boundaries of realityA talented duo of Czech designers Václav Mlynář and Jakub Pollág, living and working in London, took up current digital trends and connected them with classical wooden building blocks. The result is a building set called Koski, characterised by a mixed reality that avails of innovations of an enlarged reality with the help of a tablet application, interconnecting them with real wooden building blocks. Helped by the application, the tablet scans creations made from wooden building blocks, while enriching them on display by a virtual world. In this way, ordinary wooden blocks are being moved to an environment full of magical worlds, characters and stories. This results in incredibly innovative experiences, connecting the real world with the one of digital games.
