Clothes over time
Clothes from Norway and Slovakia – an inspiring tradition / Adriena Pekárová
The “Clothes over time” exhibition managed to merge pieces of clothing coming from various periods of time and different corners of Europe on its premises. The exhibition will present Norwegian bunads, Slovak folk costumes and a collection of contemporary design fashion. The collection of Norwegian bunads was selected by the Norges Husflidslag. The collection of fifteen Slovak folk costumes was chosen from the collections of the Museum of Folk Arts and Crafts – a part of ÚĽUV. The evidence of interest in traditional crafts and art can be found in the results of young designers’ work over the last ten years.
