Jewellery as an artwork
by Hany Kašičková
This school year again, the ÚĽUV organised a course of wire jewellery headed by the author of this article. The course’s additional title was jewellery as an artwork. As before, the purpose of the course was to develop free-style, special and unique objects that would be the result of creative process. Course attendants were surprised when they had heard that the topic of their work was the channel. As I experienced before at a bobbin lace course, the channel is perfect to derive jewellery because it may assume various shapes and decorations. We present several outcomes of the course.
