Viera Kleinová: Wire objects by Šimon Mišurda
Šimon Mišurda, a graduate of the Department of Design at the University of Fine Arts in Bratislava, has been focusing on developing traditional craft techniques since the start of his education. He became especially interested in the tinker's trade. He has managed to transform the virtues of the old tinker's trade into a contemporary style, mainly linking it with light, which has created the original concept of a wire lamp. He mainly prefers the strict linear method of shaping, while alternating the thickness of the weaving.
