Katarína Hubová: Paper clothing
With its special characteristics, paper has always attracted and still attracts artists, and it always manages to charm with its endless possibilities. 'Try something new' could be the motto that has so far characterized creations of Adriana Poláková, a student of the University of Fine Arts in Bratislava. She has experimented with paper in combination with ceramics, creating objects and statues. Her most recent works are clothes from a specially modified paper material, from which she created so-called clothes for one, single use - paper dresses.
